Dr. Birupaksha Biswas completed his Doctor of Medicine (MD) in Pathology from Burdwan Medical College (2019–2022), where his dissertation focused on a prospective clinico-pathological correlation study of CT-guided fine needle aspiration cytology (FNAC) in lung tumors. He previously earned his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the College of Medicine & Sagore Dutta Hospital, Kolkata (2011–2017). His postdoctoral academic training includes multiple internationally accredited certifications,namely in Palliative Care (BMJ & IAPC), Diabetes, and Chronic Kidney Disease (Royal College of Physicians, UK in collaboration with BMJ and leading Indian institutions),alongside specialized coursework from Harvard Medical School on global COVID-19 response. He is currently pursuing a Fellowship in Critical Care Medicine under the NHS (Health Education England) and the Royal College of Physicians (UK), with integrated hands-on clinical training.
He was recently invited by the prestigious European Hematology Association (EHA) to contribute to its international scientific deliberations on myeloid neoplasms and advanced hematological research.

Trained in interventional and clinical pathology with advanced integration of cytomorphology, immunohistochemistry, cytogenetics, and computational diagnostics, his work is characterized by a systems-level approach that unifies genotype–phenotype correlations, biomarker discovery, and precision therapeutics across neoplastic, hematological, pulmonary, endocrine, and infectious disease spectra. With 80+ peer-reviewed publications, multiple academic books, and extensive PRISMA-compliant evidence syntheses, he contributes to both foundational and translational domains which ranges from stem cell-based regenerative strategies and AI-enabled digital pathology workflows to prognostic modeling and pharmacotherapeutic optimization. His multidisciplinary portfolio extends into critical care, geriatrics, and public health, reflecting a continuum from bench to bedside to population-level inference. An active member of international scientific bodies and a contributor to AI-governed healthcare frameworks, his work embodies a convergence of biomedical science, clinical acumen, and computational intelligence aimed at redefining precision medicine in complex disease ecosystems.
